“It’s never too early to get your baby’s spine checked. Chiropractic care can benefit all the family.”
Charlotte Woodhouse DC (Paediatric Chiropractor)
“As the newest member of the Lymington Chiro team, I can’t wait to meet you.
Having grown up in the New Forest, I’ve spent the last few years in South Yorkshire, treating patients of all ages – from just 4 days old to 94 years!
Passionate about chiropractic care, I first experienced its benefits as a young gymnast. I loved gymnastics as a child and competed from a young age, but an injury in training led me to chiropractic treatment. Feeling the benefits first-hand, I was hooked on chiropractic care as an effective remedy and as soon as I could, started the 4-year degree programme with the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic.
My focus is on helping women during pregnancy and treating babies and children of all ages, having built up an in-depth knowledge by attending several post-grad courses and spending 12 months working with midwives in a feeding clinic – supporting mothers struggling with breastfeeding.
Now a member of the British Chiropractic Association and the Royal College of Chiropractors, I’m thrilled to join Lymington Chiro Clinic and can’t wait to help the women, babies and children of Lymington and the surrounding areas.
RELIEF & REASSURANCE
The benefits of paediatric chiropractic care are so far reaching. From pregnant women experiencing the physical discomfort of their body changing as their baby grows, to the struggles and symptomatic arching back or wonky skull of a new-born baby, or children experiencing pain, seeking reassurance and comfort, I’ve witnessed chiropractic care alleviate symptoms and provide a gentle, calming solution.
Trained in paediatric chiropractic and cranial techniques, I will gently assess and tailor a programme of gentle movement and massage; designed to alleviate pain, minimise discomfort and aid sleep.
There is no upper or lower age limit for chiropractic care. We simply assess functionality and suggest a treatment plan to suit. This may include a mix of gentle adjustments, exercises and massages to help change the way your child moves, so they can get back to what children do best. Having fun!
My job is to relieve the symptomatic pain, providing reassurance and comfort for mother, baby and child.“
