How Gua Sha and Crystals Enhance Facial Reflexology

Gua Sha and Crystals are used by many therapists in Facial Reflexology. To explain these fascinating tools and their benefits, we asked our Holistic Therapist Jacqueline Dark to share how they support Facial Reflexology treatments.

Gua Sha in Facial Reflexology

Jacqueline uses Gua Sha as a sculpting and lifting tool during her Facial reflexology treatments. She explains “It increases micro circulation, stimulates lymphatic drainage and reduces puffiness. Plus, it helps stimulate collagen and elastin production.””

Crystals used in Facial Reflexology

In addition to Gua Sha, Jacqueline often chooses crystals to enhance her treatments. Her preferred crystals are Rose Quartz, Amethyst and Jade. She explains:

  • Rose Quartz is widely known as the “stone of love”. It emits a cooling, calming energy, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin. As a result, it can help reduce inflammation and puffiness.
  • Amethyst is a purple, protective stone that many people associate with soothing emotions. During treatment, it can help clear mental fog. Moreover, because it supports relaxation, it may also help improve stress-related skin concerns and ease tension headaches.
  • Jade is often associated with the heart chakra. Jacqueline uses this crystal to release stiffness and tension in the facial muscles. Furthermore, Jade supports lymphatic drainage, which adds another benefit to the treatment.

Together, these qualities make the crystals a beautiful addition to Jacqueline’s Facial Reflexology treatments.

Therefore, whether you are treating yourself to Facial Reflexology or Jacqueline’s blissful Signature Treatment, you can feel confident that her intuition and years of experience will guide her in choosing the right tools for you.
